Camila combines detailed knowledge of sustainability rating systems with hands-on experience across design, construction, certification and project delivery.
Her career has progressed from environmentally sustainable design consulting at Cundall to senior sustainability leadership with Laing O’Rourke and MELconnx on the METRONET Morley–Ellenbrook Line, before she established FD Advisory Group in 2025.
Camila works with clients, designers and delivery teams to establish achievable sustainability pathways, coordinate evidence, manage compliance risks and embed sustainability into project decisions, from bids and early design through to delivery, audit and certification.
Her project experience includes the delivery of Western Australia’s first 6 Star Green Star certified industrial building. As Sustainability Lead on the Morley–Ellenbrook Line, she contributed to world-leading Green Star railway-station outcomes and the project’s Platinum As Built Infrastructure Sustainability rating under v2.0/2.1.
Her work on major transport infrastructure has also supported practical sustainability initiatives involving recycled construction materials, circular economy principles, cement reduction, carbon management and improved resource efficiency.

Camila has also taught Environmental Technology for Sustainability at Murdoch University, mentored emerging professionals and contributed to environmental volunteering and industry knowledge-sharing.
