DIGITAL & PROCESS TRANSFORMATION

Digital systems designed around how your business actually works.

FD Advisory Group helps organisations simplify workflows, reduce repetitive effort, improve decision quality and build practical digital systems around real operating requirements.

We begin with the business process, people and decisions involved, then determine where better information, automation or purpose-built technology can create measurable value.

Discuss a Process or Digital Problem
THE PROBLEM WE SOLVE

Inefficient processes quietly consume time, confidence and capacity.

Operational problems are rarely caused by a single system. They usually sit between people, spreadsheets, emails, disconnected applications and unclear responsibilities. Common issues include:

Repetitive data entry and manual reconciliation
Critical processes managed through inboxes and spreadsheets
Multiple versions of the same information
Reporting that is slow, inconsistent or immediately out of date
Workflows dependent on individual knowledge rather than a defined process
Poor visibility of responsibilities, approvals and status
Software selected before requirements are properly understood
Systems that do not reflect how teams actually operate
AI or automation initiatives without governance or a clear business case
Limited internal capacity to define and manage specialist digital delivery

FD helps clients understand the underlying process, define the required outcome and implement a proportionate digital response.

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT FIRST

Technology is the response, not the starting point.

FD does not begin by prescribing software, automation or AI. We first establish what is not working, who is affected, what information is required, which decisions the process must support, where time, quality or confidence is being lost, what risks and controls must be maintained, what a successful outcome would look like and whether technology is necessary at all.

The appropriate response may be process redesign, clearer reporting, improved governance, automation, integration, a purpose-built application or a combination of these. This approach avoids implementing technology that adds cost and complexity without solving the underlying problem.

HOW FD DELIVERS

A controlled pathway from problem to working solution.

01
Discover

Understand the current process, users, systems, information, pain points and business constraints.

02
Define

Agree on the required outcome, measures of success, scope, controls and user requirements.

03
Design

Develop the future-state process and compare proportionate solution options before selecting technology.

04
Prototype

Create a working model or controlled pilot so assumptions can be tested with real users.

05
Implement

Build, configure or coordinate delivery with clear milestones, acceptance criteria and responsibilities.

06
Embed

Support testing, training, documentation, adoption and transfer of ownership to the client team.

07
Measure

Confirm whether the solution is saving time, improving quality or supporting better decisions, then refine it.

A MULTIDISCIPLINARY CAPABILITY BUILT DELIBERATELY

Founder-led today, expanding with experienced practitioners.

FD’s current advisory team is led by its founders, Om Dolasia and Camila Fonseca Mazzo. Om connects digital initiatives to business cases, investment decisions, project governance and measurable operating outcomes. Camila brings sustainability, certification, evidence-management and complex project-delivery experience, where documentation quality, responsibility, compliance and auditability are essential.

FD is expanding this practice with experienced digital, process, software, data and automation practitioners. For each engagement, the proposed delivery team is identified before work begins, each person’s role and engagement basis is transparent, and FD’s founders retain responsibility for the business outcome, scope integration and client relationship.

RESPONSIBLE DIGITAL DELIVERY

Practical, secure and maintainable by design.

Digital improvement should not create new operational, privacy or technology risks. Depending on the engagement, FD considers data ownership, privacy and confidentiality, access control, cybersecurity, integration risks, audit trails, human oversight of automated or AI-supported processes, business continuity, documentation, ongoing support and vendor dependence.

FD defines proposed outcomes, assumptions and measures of success before implementation begins, and does not present early concepts or demonstrations as production-ready systems. Specialist cybersecurity, privacy, legal or technology assurance is appointed where the project requires it.

Where is your team losing time?

Start with the process, report, approval, spreadsheet or repetitive task that frustrates your team most. FD can help determine whether the solution is a better process, clearer information, automation or a purpose-built digital system.
