Independent advice for energy and infrastructure decisions with long-term consequences.
FD Advisory Group helps mining, industrial, data-centre, commercial and government clients plan, evaluate, procure and oversee reliable, commercially sound energy and infrastructure assets.
Our advice spans early strategy and investment due diligence through project development, procurement, delivery oversight and operational optimisation.
Power and infrastructure decisions can lock in cost, risk and performance for decades.
Energy projects bring together technical performance, commercial structure, operational reliability, sustainability requirements and long-term investment risk. Organisations commonly face:
FD provides a founder-led, technically credible and commercially grounded perspective that identifies risk early, protects long-term value and helps clients make confident decisions before significant capital is committed.

Clear advice for every decision-maker.
FD develops one consistent body of technical, commercial and sustainability evidence. We then translate that evidence for each audience without changing the underlying facts, assumptions or recommendations.
Clear business cases, risk quantification, investment options, value protection and go or no-go recommendations.
Strategic options, procurement pathways, commercial structures, contract risks and long-term cost implications.
Scope definition, owner’s requirements, interface management, procurement support and delivery-risk mitigation.
Technical architecture, reliability, technology evaluation, operating requirements and integration planning.
Senior attention from the beginning, with capability that grows around the work.
FD Advisory Group is currently led and operated by its two founders. Clients work directly with the senior advisers responsible for the engagement rather than being handed to a junior delivery team after appointment. When a project requires additional capacity or specialist disciplines, FD expands the delivery team through project-specific recruitment and specialist appointments.
